Jane and Maggie often found that they attracted attention while in India. They were troopers and patiently agreed to be in photos with countless families and individuals. They were fascinated by two blond-haired, blue-eyed American girls. Almost all of the people were friendly. Often, we were interested if photos with them as well - fascinated by the beauty and colors of the Indian saris and jewelry. Only once did we have to say no as a line of Indian tourists from a bus lined up for photos with the girls outside of a temple.
